Swiss-Made Mechanical Watch Brand NORQAIN Makes Japanese Debut
NORQAIN
New Brand NORQAIN, Forged with a Passion for True Swiss Watchmaking, Makes its Japanese Debut
A new brand from Switzerland, NORQAIN, has arrived in Japan. It promises to be a noteworthy brand that upholds the tradition of Swiss-made luxury mechanical watches and inherits the spirit of craftsmanship.
A Watch That Would Impress a Craftsman from 100 Years Ago, or a Maker 100 Years From Now
NORQAIN was born in January 2019 in Biel, the heart of Swiss watchmaking. Founded by Ben Küffer, who has dedicated many years to honing his skills as a brand manager for Swiss watch brands, the company cherishes the ideal of creating "a watch that would impress a craftsman from 100 years ago, or a maker 100 years from now." They pursue a beauty that can only be achieved through meticulous handcraftsmanship.
A distinctive feature of NORQAIN watches is the customizable plate on the left side of the case, where one can engrave personal messages. By inscribing the names of loved ones or personal mottos, the watch becomes a special item imbued with the wearer's sentiments.
The collection comprises three lines: Adventure, designed to inspire a spirit of exploration; Freedom, meticulously crafted with attention to detail; and Independence, symbolizing self-reliance and success. All models are equipped with automatic mechanical movements and embody true Swiss watchmaking through their handcrafted finishing.
