The inaugural piece in the Breitling for Bentley collection, this watch featured a groundbreaking 48.7mm large case upon its announcement in 2003.
It is equipped with a chronograph second hand capable of completing a dial rotation in 30 seconds and measuring 1/8th of a second, along with the world's first variable tachymeter, which, when used with the chronograph, can calculate average speed regardless of elapsed time, distance traveled, or maximum speed. The case back bears an engraving symbolizing the partnership between Breitling and Bentley.
Self-winding chronometer. 28,800 vibrations per hour. 42-hour power reserve. Crocodile strap. ¥945,000.

BRAND HISTORY

This line began when the esteemed Swiss watchmaker "Breitling" and the prestigious British automobile manufacturer "Bentley" forged a partnership in 2002. Their first collaboration involved integrating a Breitling-made dashboard clock into the instrument panel of Bentley's celebrated sports coupe, the "Continental GT."

The following year, Breitling started producing a separate line of timepieces, distinct from its own collections, inspired by Bentley's renowned automobiles. Thus, Breitling for Bentley was born, a fusion of two titans from the skies and the roads.

The brand's collection features distinctive models such as the "Bentley Motors," equipped with a high-speed chronograph mechanism that completes a dial rotation in 30 seconds; the "Bentley GT," featuring a metallic dial; and the "Bentley 6.75," which includes a big date and chronograph.

With meticulous attention to detail, including the characteristic knurling on the bezel reminiscent of Bentley car controls and intricate ornamentation on the case back, these robust timepieces garner significant attention not only from watch enthusiasts but also from automotive aficionados.

Furthermore, in '05, two complication models featuring a perpetual calendar and tourbillon were introduced, followed by the rectangular "Flying B" non-chronograph watch in '06. The brand gradually solidified its unique identity, becoming recognized as a distinct entity separate from Breitling.

In 2007, the "Flying B" collection was expanded, further cementing the substantial and luxurious styling that is a hallmark of Bentley cars.
