Two Luxurious Jewelry Models to Launch in November

Rado has long been a pioneer in ceramic watchmaking. This new touch-sensor watch is born from a quarter-century of accumulated expertise in ceramics, focusing on its insulating properties.

Housed within the ceramic case are a quartz movement and four electrodes. Positioned at 2, 4, 8, and 10 o'clock, these electrodes interact with the wearer's fingertip through the ceramic case. Like a capacitor, they function as part of an oscillating circuit.

Furthermore, the stainless steel case back acts as a shield, protecting the internal circuitry from the outside world. This design empowers the wearer to control the watch's electronic heart. Through the ceramic, the electrodes 'feel' the presence of a fingertip upon touch, offering a unique sensation of manipulating time.

Rado will also launch two limited-edition jewelry-adorned models in November. The 'Rado Essenza Ceramic Touch Fibonacci' is named after the Italian mathematician Leonardo Fibonacci, who discovered the golden ratio. This Fibonacci spiral guides the arrangement of jewels on the dial, creating a dazzling display with 534 stones.

In addition to diamonds, the collection features blue sapphires, green garnets, and orange sapphires. These highly exclusive pieces, launching in November, are limited to just 300 units worldwide for each model.

The 'Rado Essenza Ceramic Touch Jubilee 132 Limited Edition' showcases a galaxy of diamonds swirling across the dial and extending onto the ceramic bracelet—a testament to advanced technology. Rado's patented technique is employed for setting the diamonds across the ceramic, resulting in a luxurious watch only Rado could create. This model is also scheduled for a limited release this November.
