Embodying Minimalism with a Novel Approach

The "Rado True" is an iconic timepiece crafted from high-tech ceramic, the material that brought the brand global renown. Rado commissioned six designer groups to express their unique visions centered on lightness and minimalism. The result, created by the Swiss design trio Big-Game, is this "Rado True Phospho."

The "Rado True Phospho" embodies minimalism while expressing playfulness and surprise. Its black dial features fine perforations, revealing the high-quality Swiss automatic movement beneath. This represents a novel approach to traditional skeletonization techniques.

The fine perforations are also used to create luminous indices. By applying Super-LumiNova to these holes, the index figures are formed. The tips of the hour and minute hands are also coated with Super-LumiNova, and the second hand is fully coated, enhancing legibility.
