BLANCPAIN
A Constellation of Excellence
Blancpain and Joël Robuchon Forge a Partnership

The Essence of Haute Horlogerie and Haute Gastronomy is One
Even before the current gastronomic boom, Blancpain maintained a close relationship with Freddy Girardet, chef at the restaurant Hôtel de Ville in Switzerland. This encounter fostered the belief that there is a profound connection between haute gastronomie and traditional watchmaking. Both watchmakers and chefs possess a passion for craftsmanship and precision, driven by a spirit of authenticity and an unyielding pursuit of perfection, creating a delicate balance between tradition and innovation.
Similarly, Joël Robuchon recognized that Blancpain shared the same principles that guided his own cuisine: the pursuit of excellence, savoir-faire, passion, meticulous handwork, and the transmission of knowledge. To celebrate this shared philosophy, the two have formed a partnership to promote their respective arts and common values.
Blancpain has cultivated special ties with world-class chefs, including Joël Robuchon and Freddy Girardet, whose Michelin stars collectively exceed one hundred. This network of relationships has solidified the conviction that passion, authenticity, and sensibility form the common foundation of haute horlogerie and haute gastronomie, deepening the bond with Joël Robuchon.
