How "Okaimono" Works

From Thursday, September 1st, purchases of eligible products at participating stores using d Payment (QR code payment) will result in 1% of the purchase price being donated to a social contribution organization selected by the customer. Customers will also receive up to 10% back in d Points (limited to specific uses and periods) at a later date. Furthermore, participating manufacturers will also donate 1% of their relevant sales to social contribution organizations through this project.

Additionally, purchasers can select the cause they wish to support from five themes on the official website's donation selection page, allowing them to contribute to one of seven social contribution organizations working towards realizing these societal goals.

Eligible Products
All Kao products *Excluding Curél, Sofina, and Kanebo Cosmetics
Nescafé Regular Soluble Coffee (jars, various Eco & System Packs), Nescafé Gold Blend
(various bottle coffees), Kit Kat Mini (various large paper-packaged products)
*Excludes Kit Kat products other than large paper-packaged varieties, Nescafé stick coffees, and Excellá bottle coffees.

How to Participate
During the project period, purchase ¥1,000 (tax included) or more of eligible Kao or Nestlé products at participating stores using d Payment (QR code payment). 1% of the purchase amount will be donated to a social contribution organization selected by the customer, and customers will receive up to 10% back in d Points (limited to specific uses and periods) at a later date.
*Donation recipients can be selected from the donation selection page on the official website.
*Donation recipients can also be assigned by the project organizers. (If no selection is made by the customer, donations will be distributed equally among all recipients.)
