Opens November 13 (Wed) as "CHA NUNG Daimaru Umeda Store"

CHA NUNG offers a rich variety of tea experiences beyond just tapioca, allowing guests to enjoy tea "as is," "with tapioca," "with fruit," or "as a sweet." These diverse ways to enjoy tea are available through a wide selection of drinks.

The store's entirely original design, localized for Japan, features a modern, minimalist atmosphere with a white base, accented by colorful and pop hues throughout. The space is designed to evoke the latest trends of both Japan and Taiwan.

At the newly opened Daimaru Umeda store, in addition to the dozens of varietal teas offered, a new "Purich Brown Sugar Latte" will debut. This nostalgic-tasting latte features a freshly made pudding, prepared daily in-store, which was also a hit at the Omotesando branch.

To commemorate its Kansai debut, the "Matcha Purich Brown Sugar Latte" made with matcha pudding and the "Mango Purich Brown Sugar Latte" made with mango pudding will be released here first, ahead of the rest of the world.

Furthermore, the base teas, offering a refined sweetness and deep flavor, are made exclusively from hand-picked new buds. The tea leaves, roasted in-house, release a rich aroma and possess a unique flavor profile that is deep, mellow, and subtly sweet, allowing guests to fully savor the original taste of the tea through each product.

Additionally, the limited-edition white tapioca pearls are additive-free, color-free, and beautifully pure white, made from fresh tapioca. CHA NUNG in Taiwan is the originator of white tapioca milk tea. Due to the difficulty in their production method, these tapioca pearls will be released in limited quantities. Made with abundant Taiwanese honey, the tapioca offers a delightful fruity flavor.
