The Fifth Store Worldwide, Japan's First New Concept Shop
This new concept shop, featuring the signature Peninsula Green color, first appeared in 2021 with the renovation of The Peninsula Hong Kong. Since then, stores in Shanghai (two locations) and London have opened sequentially, and now it makes its Japan debut at Matsuya Ginza.
It is characterized by its luxurious interior and a cafe space that includes a drink counter, a first for Japan.
Furthermore, under the concept of "A Luxury Hotel in a Boutique," it offers a curated selection of The Peninsula Hotels' gift items.
In the cafe space, guests can enjoy popular original sweets, such as the signature Mango Pudding and seasonal cakes, paired with The Peninsula's original teas and Chinese teas.
Exclusively for Matsuya Ginza, a Hong Kong-style milk tea, made with strongly brewed tea and evaporated milk, is also served. The richness of the evaporated milk complements the tea's aroma, creating a deeply satisfying flavor.
