ARTISTS’ FAIR KYOTO:BLOWBALL, an event designed to expand the opportunities for promising young artists from regional areas, is being held in Kyoto.
For one month, against the backdrop of Kyoto, exhibitions will be held that are planned around displaying works in offices and restaurants, and fostering interaction with business professionals. The exhibition will showcase the works of young artists who are poised to lead regional revitalization through culture and the arts, in familiar settings, making them easily accessible for purchase.

ARTISTS' FAIR KYOTO:BLOWBALL
A satellite event of ARTISTS' FAIR KYOTO (held February 24th (Sat) - 25th (Sun)). Alongside the fair, "ART MEETS WINTER" and "KYOTO ART LOUNGE" are being held with the aim of creating opportunities for promising young regional artists to present their work and building new networks with business leaders.
【ART MEETS WINTER】
Works by young artists will be exhibited in offices, restaurants, and other venues in Kyoto City.
Dates: February 1st (Thu) - February 28th (Wed), 2018
Venues: 11 locations in Kyoto City (Impact Hub Kyoto, Ozu Maison du Sake, Kissaten Union, Kyoto Shimbun Building, Shimadzu Corporation Headquarters, Time-do, Gekkeikan Sakamoto Store, Noku Cafe, Maeda Coffee Oike Branch, Maeda Coffee Muromachi Main Branch, Wacoal Study Hall Kyoto)
Participating Artists: 21
*Kyoto Shimbun Building and Shimadzu Corporation Headquarters are not open to the general public.

Lunch Party in the "World of Para-fook" - Sexy Salad - (Impact Hub Kyoto)
How far does "your" and "my" body extend? I've become "me" in strange clothes!
"Sexy Salad" is a potluck lunch party held on the second Thursday of every month. This time, it's a special collaboration with "ART MEETS WINTER"! Families with children and shy individuals who find it difficult to meet new people are all welcome! Participation for short periods or just observing is also fine.

■ Let's make original handmade nikuman! (Lunch Party)

Participation Fee: 500 yen + bring one food or drink item and ingredients for nikuman
*HUB members and residents of Nishijin Sangyo Sogo Kan can participate for free if they bring items; otherwise, 500 yen.
*If you do not bring "one item and nikuman ingredients," the participation fee is 1,000 yen.
【KYOTO ART LOUNGE】
A group exhibition featuring artists "currently drawing attention" with ties to Kyoto.
Dates: February 23rd (Fri) - March 23rd (Fri)
Reception: February 23rd (Fri) 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM *No prior registration required, free admission
Venue: Hotel Anteroom Kyoto (7 Akatacho, Higashikujo, Minami-ku, Kyoto City)
Exhibiting Artists: 20 young artists
