Tokyo's Streets Reimagined with 100 Projectors at 'TOKYO ART CITY by NAKED'

An immersive art experience, "TOKYO ART CITY by NAKED," which expresses the charm of the city as art under the theme of “TOKYO,” will be held at Tokyo Dome City's "Gallery AaMo" from Friday, June 16th to Sunday, September 3rd.

An overwhelming entertainment space born from approximately 100 projectors and 250 models, enveloping you in 360°.

The creative company Naked Inc. is behind this project.

At "Gallery AaMo" in Tokyo Dome City, the venue for this event, you'll find Shinjuku's skyscrapers, Shibuya's scramble crossing, the Rainbow Bridge in Odaiba, the crowds of Akihabara, the Metropolitan Expressway weaving through these areas, and the subway lines layered beneath.

Under the theme of “TOKYO,” eight iconic Tokyo spots (Shinjuku, Shibuya, Odaiba, Tokyo Tower, Tokyo Dome, Akihabara, Tokyo Station, Tokyo National Museum) are brought to life through projection mapping, utilizing approximately 250 models and 100 projectors.

Through the interplay of light and visuals powered by cutting-edge technology, the entire 730㎡ venue transforms into a single art space, adorned with light.

This project is packed with even more delightful features.

A 4.3-meter-tall Tokyo Tower offers an observation deck you can actually climb, where jumbo jets fly before your eyes as you gaze down upon a "Tokyo" that continuously shifts in vibrant color.

Furthermore, the walls of Shibuya's buildings become a digital graffiti corner where you can freely draw with your fingers, and Akihabara features a rare gachapon machine only available at the venue.

Digital fireworks, perfect for summer, light up the sky, while interactive elements linked to social media and reality appear on the streets and building walls, with sounds and smoke triggered by people's movements, making the entire city come alive.

Additionally, the event is brimming with highlights, including workshops for parents and children, surprise performances, and collaborative projects with popular artists, offering a truly immersive art experience.

Tickets are currently on sale at Ticket Pia, Lawson Ticket, Seven-Eleven, e-plus, peatix, Pass Me!, and other outlets.
