Talk Session with Tetsuya Bessho and Others on November 7 (Thursday)

Since 2013, Lexus has been producing "LEXUS SHORT FILMS" with the brand mission to "deliver感動 (kandō - deep emotion) that exceeds surprise and anticipation" and "support the next generation of creators."LEXUSThis year, Lexus is focusing its efforts on delivering creativity to more people through short films, including holding a world premiere at "Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia (SSFF & ASIA)," an Academy Awards-accredited and Asia's largest international short film festival.



In collaboration with the video distribution app "UULA" and Nestlé Japan, Lexus is opening a short film theater at "INTERSECT BY LEXUS－TOKYO" in Minami-Aoyama, Tokyo, to curate and screen a selection of high-quality films. As a venue to encounter the charm of domestic and international short films more intimately, all 12 selected works, including "LEXUS SHORT FILMS" produced to date, "OPERATIONAL BARN OWL," "FAKE," and "BITTERSWEET ~Otona no Intersection~," will be screened for free.



The venue, "INTERSECT BY LEXUS－TOKYO," is a space where visitors can experience Lexus's vision of lifestyle through design, art, fashion, and culture, with the theme of "connecting with the city and bringing people and cars together." During the short film theater's run, furniture from the Italian company Alias, relaunched by Cassina IXC, will add color to this space designed by interior designer Masamichi Katayama.



On November 7 (Friday), a talk session will be held with Tetsuya Bessho, representative of "Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia (SSFF & ASIA)," actress and model Alice Hirose, and singer K, on the theme of "The Present and Future of Short Films." We hope you will take this opportunity to enjoy the talented short films by carefully selected next-generation creators in a relaxed atmosphere.
