A Lonely Woman Meets Marta, a Mother Living Her Final Days to the Fullest

Director Claudia Sainte-Luce, drawing from her own experiences, portrays "the mother left behind" and "the children left behind" in this film. Claudia, a lonely woman, has a fateful encounter with Marta, a mother with little time left, and her four children. By chance, she spends time with them and becomes part of their family, and Claudia, who had never known love, begins to change little by little.


Ximena Ayala plays Claudia, the protagonist who embodies the director herself. Lisa Owen, a popular Mexican actress, plays Marta, the mother with little time left. The cinematography is by Agnès Godard, who has worked on films by masters like Agnès Varda. Her work delicately captures the tense family moments as they face the mother's death.
