This premiere screening offers a perfect opportunity to experience a unique sense of realism, distinct from a live Bunraku puppet theater performance, through the ultra-high-definition 8K Super Hi-Vision images projected onto a massive 350-inch screen.

Furthermore, talk shows will be held after the second screening on each day. On the 25th, the guests will be Seiji Tsurusawa, a Living National Treasure who composed the music for 'Sugimoto Bunraku: Sonezaki Shinju,' and Patrick De Vos, a professor at the University of Tokyo who produced the French subtitles for the Paris performances. On the 26th, the guests will be Tabaimo, a contemporary artist who created the innovative video work for 'Kannon Meguri,' and Hiroshi Adachi, the producer of this work.

From collaborations with a Living National Treasure of shamisen and the "solo puppetry" of Kanjuro Kiritake, to the fusion with video art by a cutting-edge contemporary artist, and even costumes using Hermès scarves – this is a chance to experience Japan's traditional performing arts, which captivated Europe through Hiroshi Sugimoto's unique sensibility, with the latest technology. Don't miss this opportunity.
