Free for elementary school students and younger! An unprecedented, unique initiative
Director Gakudai Ito's latest film, “Hello! Junichi,” is a thrilling coming-of-age story filled with laughter and tears, brought to life by a group of six inseparable elementary school friends and their unconventional teacher. Driven by a desire to create a film that would make children love movies, the cast and crew, who resonated with this vision, gathered to produce this work under the slogan, “A gift of film for children.” The unprecedented exhibition style, with free admission for children (elementary school age and younger), is also noteworthy.
Hikari Mitsushima plays Anna-sensei, who is both sexy and cute. She vividly portrays a wild character vastly different from her previous roles. Also impressive is the earnest and full-hearted performance by the children, including Kaito Kabe as Junichi. The film also features a host of other unique and talented actors such as Yoshinori Morishita, Ryu Morimoto, Tatsuya Gashuin, and Chihiro Ikewaki.
Co-directors and screenwriters Atsushi Yoshioka and Kanako Kawaguchi, graduates of the workshop led by director Gakudai Ito, were chosen for these roles.

However, through her interactions with the children, who are honest and full of human kindness, their daily lives begin to change little by little. Eventually, they decide to organize an “event” to help a friend in need, but—.
“Hello! Junichi,” packed with the love for film and children from director Gakudai Ito and all the participating staff and cast, is a children's film that adults can also enjoy as if they've returned to childhood.
