Rush: A True Story of Passion, Friendship, and Glory is based on one of the most shocking events in 1970s Formula 1 history. Niki Lauda Returns to the Track After a Near-Fatal Injury, His Appearance Transformed
It was the golden age of Formula 1 in 1976. James Hunt, a passionate driver in both his racing and personal life, and Niki Lauda, a strategic mastermind on and off the track, captivated the world as fierce rivals.
The season began with Lauda holding a commanding lead. But then, at the moment he was poised to clinch the championship,
everything changed. A horrific crash left Lauda critically injured, with little hope of recovery.
Hunt, seemingly driven to overcome the guilt of his perceived role in the accident, poured his soul into the remaining races. As he closed in on the championship, Lauda returned to the circuit. His appearance, however, was irrevocably altered...
The margin between them was razor-thin. At the final race at Japan's Fuji Speedway, fueled by a bond that transcended rivalry, both drivers pushed beyond their limits!
Beyond the adrenaline-fueled shock and excitement lies a moving story that surpasses all expectations.—This is a first-class entertainment experience, woven from a gripping true story and spectacular racing sequences.
