Cinema's Top Three Superstars Unite
The legendary Hollywood duo, master director Martin Scorsese and acclaimed actor Robert De Niro, who brought us masterpieces like 'Goodfellas' and 'Taxi Driver,' join forces with the charismatic director Luc Besson, who captivated the world with 'Léon' and 'The Big Blue.' This is a dream collaboration.
Director Luc Besson skillfully weaves in the cultural differences between America and France to depict the turbulent "life in hiding" of the Blake family. Robert De Niro, playing the protagonist, masterfully portrays both the rage of a former mobster and the pathos of a father. Executive producer Martin Scorsese injects the authentic essence of mafia films. Here, a thrilling entertainment is born, starring a family unlike any seen before, captivating audiences with its outlandish thrills and humor.
Michelle Pfeiffer co-stars as the protagonist's wife, Maggie, and Tommy Lee Jones plays the FBI agent Stansfield, who monitors the family, creating a superb ensemble.
This Family Has Secrets!
The Blake family, who moved to a quiet town in Normandy, France, harbored an extraordinary secret. The patriarch, Fred Blake, is a former mobster who, along with his family, has been living under the FBI's witness protection program, constantly moving around the world under assumed names.
Though the family tries to blend into the community, the hot-tempered Fred's old instincts flare up at every turn, and his wife Maggie and their two children also find themselves in trouble wherever they go. Eventually, the mafia don, harboring a grudge against Fred, tracks him down and dispatches a squad of hitmen. Thus begins a fierce, unforgiving battle between family versus family.
