The documentary 'Marilyn Monroe: The Secret Within Her Eyes,' based on Marilyn Monroe's newly revealed personal writings, opens on Saturday, October 5th. In anticipation, OPENERS is inviting five pairs (10 people) to a premiere screening with a talk event, to be held at Shintoshin Hall on Monday, September 23rd, starting at 2:00 PM.

This film, drawing from her private writings revealed for the first time 50 years after her passing, meticulously traces her life from childhood to her final days, incorporating rare footage from her wedding and divorce press conferences and interviews.
Furthermore, ten contemporary actresses of varying ages and backgrounds—including Uma Thurman, Lindsay Lohan, Glenn Close, and Marisa Tomei—embody Marilyn Monroe, serving as narrators who convey her inner voice. Notable figures associated with Marilyn Monroe during her lifetime are portrayed by Ben Foster, Adrien Brody, and Paul Giamatti.
Was the legendary actress Marilyn Monroe merely an 'illusion' created by Hollywood and herself? Her passion, ambition, search for self, and fear of power—emotions she never publicly revealed until her final moments—are now projected onto the screen after 50 years of silence, revealing the woman behind the icon.
