Diana, the former Princess of Wales, died at the young age of 36 in a traffic accident. The film "Diana," which depicts her life and secret love, will be released nationwide on Friday, October 18th, at TOHO Cinemas Yurakucho and other theaters. In anticipation of the release, OPENERS is inviting 10 pairs (20 people) to a preview screening to be held on Tuesday, October 8th, at 6:30 PM at Yomiuri Hall.

This August 31st marks 16 years since the shocking death of Princess Diana. Yet, her presence continues to live on in the hearts of many. "Diana" will be released, shedding light on the woman Diana after she left the royal family, the Diana that no one knew.
The starring role is played by the acclaimed Naomi Watts, a two-time Academy Award nominee. She has mastered Diana's characteristic whispering voice, her gentle speaking style, and her wistful upward glances, embodying Diana through her every move. The film is directed by Oliver Hirschbiegel, who was praised for excavating the "humanity" of history's most infamous "villain" in "Downfall."
Furthermore, top brands favored by Diana, such as Chopard, Tod's, and Versace, have provided their full cooperation. Don't miss the precious footage of Kensington Palace, for which the British Royal Family granted filming permission.
Diana, who empathized with the vulnerable because she knew her own weaknesses
The story begins in 1995. Three years after separating from her husband. Diana was living a lonely life, separated from her two sons. One day, she met Hasnat Khan, a heart surgeon, and became convinced she had finally met a man she could deeply respect.
Then, in an interview, she confessed the truth behind their separation. When she was criticized by her family for saying she wanted to be "the people's princess," only Hasnat encouraged her, saying, "Now you are free."
A year later. After her divorce, Diana traveled the world, engaging in humanitarian activities such as the campaign to ban landmines. Diana, who understood the hearts of the vulnerable because she knew her own weaknesses, began to heal people's hearts and even influence politics.
