Steve Jobs, who passed away in 2011 at the young age of 56. The theatrical release in Japan of 『Steve Jobs』, a film depicting his life with Ashton Kutcher in the starring role, has been set for Friday, November 1st.

Ashton Kutcher, Who Sparked Buzz for His Resemblance to Jobs

The film 『Steve Jobs』 portrays the untold life of Steve Jobs, the founder of Apple and a visionary who continuously brought innovative products and content to the world. While its release in the United States was scheduled for Friday, August 16th, it has now been confirmed that Japan will also see its release on Friday, November 1st.

For this role, Ashton Kutcher, who plays Jobs, diligently studied footage of the man himself. He not only learned his distinctive walk and mannerisms but also underwent a diet for the role. Furthermore, as soon as he posted a photo on Twitter showing his face merged halfway with Jobs', it became a major topic of conversation, with astonished reactions pouring in from around the globe at their uncanny resemblance.
