A cast of acclaimed actors, including Ben Affleck and Olga Kurylenko, gather
Terrence Malick, who won the Best Director award at the Cannes Film Festival for "Days of Heaven" in 1978, went on hiatus after receiving global acclaim. He made a dramatic comeback with his first new film in 20 years, "The Thin Red Line" (1998), which won the Golden Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival. In 2011, "The Tree of Life" earned him the Palme d'Or at Cannes, solidifying his reputation as one of the greatest contemporary filmmakers. "To the Wonder" is his highly anticipated latest work.
Throughout his career spanning over 40 years, Malick has directed only six films, yet each stands as a testament to his mastery and artistic integrity. For his latest project, Hollywood's finest actors have assembled. Ben Affleck, who won the Academy Award for Best Picture for his self-directed and starring role in "Argo" (2012), has become a central figure in the film industry, both critically and commercially. Affleck, a long-time acquaintance of Malick's who has often sought his advice, delivers a performance of unprecedented depth and serenity in this collaboration with the director he deeply admires.
Olga Kurylenko, known for her roles in films like "Oblivion," plays Marina, the woman Neil falls in love with. Rachel McAdams, from "Midnight in Paris," portrays Jane, another woman Neil cherishes. Javier Bardem delivers a solemn performance as a priest grappling with his faith.

What is love? Is eternal love possible?
Neil, an aspiring writer from America, meets Marina on Mont Saint-Michel, an island off the coast of western France, and they fall deeply in love. However, their happiness is short-lived after they move to Oklahoma in the United States and begin their life in a small town.
Neil loses his passion for Marina and becomes captivated by his childhood friend, Jane. Meanwhile, Marina, struggling with her relationship with Neil, visits Father Quintner. What is love? Is eternal love possible?
Terrence Malick captures the ebb and flow of passionate love into obligation and regret against the vast landscapes of Mont Saint-Michel and Oklahoma. The film poignantly, heartbreakingly, and brutally portrays the ephemeral nature of human affection as it fades over time, even amidst lingering feelings of love.
