Hong's Joyful Parallel Worlds

Director Hong Sang-soo, often hailed as "the Korean Godard" and highly regarded in Europe as well as his native South Korea, presents 'Right Now, Wrong Then.' The film unfolds across three distinct narratives, exploring the tender romance between a French woman and a lifeguard, and the essence of a summer vacation. Expect Hong's signature blend of witty, elegant dialogue, playful cinematic devices, and a joyful parallel universe.

The lead role is played by Isabelle Huppert, an esteemed actress known for her work in French New Wave classics by Godard and Chabrol, as well as contemporary masterpieces by Michael Haneke and François Ozon. She charmingly embodies each distinct Anne, creating a superb ensemble with Korean cast members Yu Jun-sang, Moon So-ri, and Jung Yu-mi, all familiar faces in Hong's filmography.

What will be the outcome of each Anne's tender, awkward encounters with the lifeguard she can barely communicate with...?
