Following his record-breaking 2012 box office success with 'Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol,' his flamboyant turn as a rock star in 'Rock of Ages,' and his role as a dark hero in 'Jack Reacher,' Tom Cruise, still on a remarkable streak after more than 30 years in the industry, arrives with his latest film, 'Oblivion.'

The cast also features Olga Kurylenko, who played a Bond girl in 'Quantum of Solace,' as Julia, a woman who crashes on Earth. As the mysterious man Beach, who holds the key to the fate of Jack, played by Tom Cruise, we have Oscar winner Morgan Freeman, rounding out a cast of seasoned performers.



The original world was brought to life by director Joseph Kosinski, who created a unique visual world in his previous film 'Tron: Legacy' and wrote the graphic novel on which this film is based. Producers include Peter Chernin and Dylan Clark of 'Rise of the Planet of the Apes.'

Jack's destiny is set in motion by his encounter with the beautiful Julia!

In 2077, Earth was devastated by an alien attack, forcing humanity to migrate to other planets. Jack, his memory wiped as part of a security protocol, remains on the ruined Earth, monitoring it from 1,000 meters above. One day, Jack discovers Julia, a beautiful woman asleep in a crashed spacecraft. Upon waking, she inexplicably speaks Jack's name, though they've never met.

Jack follows fragmented memories, only to be apprehended by the mysterious Beach in a supposedly deserted Earth. Beach reveals a shocking truth to Jack, which compels him to act. Who is Julia? This encounter with them sets Jack's own fate, and the fate of Earth, in motion!
