Fashion designer Tom Ford's latest film, "Nocturnal Animals," his first directorial effort in seven years since "A Single Man" (2009), will be released in November at TOHO Cinemas Shinjuku and other theaters nationwide.

Susan leads a life of material comfort with her husband, yet feels emotionally unfulfilled. One weekend, she receives a novel titled "Nocturnal Animals" from her ex-husband, Edward, whom she divorced 20 years prior. The novel, dedicated to her, is violent and shocking.

Susan, who had dismissed her ex-husband's talent and emotional fragility, recognizes an extraordinary talent in his novel that she had never encountered before, and begins to wish for a reunion. Why did he send her the novel? Is it lingering love, or is it revenge?

The trailer and teaser visuals for the latest film, "Nocturnal Animals," have now been released. Starring Amy Adams and Jake Gyllenhaal, the film features these two accomplished actors and depicts a heart torn between love and cruelty, revenge and atonement. "A Single Man" garnered attention for its beautiful cinematography, born from his aesthetic as a designer. The trailer for this new film also conveys a sense of visual beauty.

The film won the Grand Jury Prize at the 73rd Venice International Film Festival. It has also been a subject of much discussion, with Michael Shannon nominated for Best Supporting Actor at this year's Academy Awards and Aaron Taylor-Johnson winning Best Supporting Actor at the 74th Golden Globe Awards.

The released trailer offers a glimpse into the complex narrative, where "the novel," "the past," and "the present" intersect. Ludovico Einaudi's "Logos," a piece widely known in Japan from the film "The Intouchables" and also featured in the score for Hirokazu Kore-eda's latest film "The Third Murder," enhances the unpredictable unfolding of events.

This is a deeply immersive world, guided by the exceptional performances and direction of its stellar cast, conveying more than words ever could. A must-see romance and mystery film this autumn that will leave you with a lingering sense of unease long after viewing.
