For the first time in Japanese cinema history, the New York Broadway musical "Holiday Inn" will be screened in Shochiku cinemas.
This production is a stage adaptation of the 1942 musical film "Holiday Inn" (Japanese title: Swing Hotel), starring Bing Crosby and Fred Astaire. It was produced by Universal Stage Productions and Rodgers & Hammerstein in collaboration with Roundabout Theatre Company.
This spectacular stage production has been filmed for cinema release and will be specially screened with Japanese subtitles. The acclaimed music and lyrics by Irving Berlin, beloved by audiences then and now, are brought to life with a new script penned by Gordon Greenberg and Chad Hodge.
