New Talent Gathers Under Director J.C. Chandor
A socially conscious human drama is born, depicting the intense crisis faced by business leaders with overwhelming quality and breathtaking tension. A difficult choice is forced upon a man whose principle is "to do the right thing." Success or ruin, black or white – the tense negotiation and realistic conflict confront viewers with the question: "What is true success?"
The director is J.C. Chandor, known for "All Is Lost." The couple at the heart of the story are played by Oscar Isaac and Jessica Chastain. The two were actually classmates at Juilliard and have been close friends for many years. It's said that it was Jessica Chastain's strong recommendation that led Oscar Isaac to take on the starring role.
The cast also features other cutting-edge actors like David Oyelowo. The film has been honored with nominations for 40 film awards.
