"Ballet Boys" is a documentary that captures the lives of three boys striving daily to achieve their dream of becoming professional ballet dancers. It will be released sequentially in theaters nationwide, including Human Trust Cinema Yurakucho and Shibuya Uplink, starting Saturday, August 29th.

Three classmates devoted to ballet. A documentary has arrived, following the most sensitive four years of their lives, from age 12 to 16.
The director is Kenneth Elvebak, who is based in Norway and has produced numerous documentaries. The film captures not only their passionate pursuit of dreams but also weaves in the subtle nuances of their inner lives, including friendship and conflict.
An Audition Invitation Arrives, Addressed Only to Lukas Among the Three
Oslo, the capital of Norway. Lukas, Sivert, and Torgeir, three boys aiming to become professional dancers—a rare path for males—have endured rigorous training while playfully interacting, pushing each other to improve.
Then one day, Lukas receives an audition invitation from the prestigious Royal Ballet School in London. Lukas is nervous about this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, while his two friends watch on. This event unexpectedly places the three boys at a crossroads in their lives.
As innocent expressions transform into those of young men. The vibrant, dynamic visuals are complemented by the boys' earnest struggles, conflicts, and even setbacks, which reflect in our hearts as a dazzling radiance.
