Food by Chef Hidemasa Yamamoto, Former Head Chef for Presidential Inaugural Banquets

On April 18 (Thursday), GRAHAM’S CAFE Los Angeles, a casual dining establishment recreating the open atmosphere and authentic flavors of the West Coast of Los Angeles, opened within the newly completed complex, Tokyo Square Garden, in Kyobashi, Tokyo.



The interior recreates the West Coast LA setting where Jonathan Graham, owner and chocolatier of Compartés Chocolatier, grew up. Warm wood is used throughout, creating a space that is simple yet incorporates the casualness of LA. With open-air seating available, guests can enjoy a relaxed and open atmosphere under the bright sun, even while in Tokyo.

The food menu is produced by Chef Hidemasa Yamamoto, renowned for orchestrating the presidential inaugural banquet for the 40th U.S. President at the young age of 28. The menu features LA-style main dishes with generously grilled meat and fish, as well as dishes that maximize the quality of the ingredients, offering a selection of luxurious yet simple options.



Desserts are produced by Compartés Chocolatier. In addition to desserts featuring chocolate, they offer American-style shortcakes, which are rare in Japan. The wines are selected by Junko Yaginuma, a freelance announcer and wine journalist, while the tableware and teas are chosen by Nobuko Miyazaki, a former NTV announcer now working as a freelance announcer.

This is a dream collaboration between Compartés Chocolatier, helmed by the young and acclaimed chocolatier Jonathan Graham, and Chef Hidemasa Yamamoto, who captivates not only celebrities but also America's financial elite.
