ART OF TEA, a premium tea brand from Los Angeles that supplies organic teas with carefully selected ingredients to five-star hotels and more, has introduced the loose-leaf "Happy Tea," made from "Wuyusa," to Japan.

"Wuyusa" is a super leaf from Amazon, Ecuador, that has recently gained attention among Hollywood celebrities. Compared to yerba mate, which is also cultivated in South America, it has less bitterness and approximately twice the antioxidant properties of green tea.

It also contains 15 types of amino acids and is known as a natural energy drink with the awakening effects of natural caffeine.


The "Happy Tea" being introduced features organic Wuyusa blended with raspberry, hibiscus, and jasmine. The exquisite harmony of sweet raspberry and the tartness of fresh hibiscus, along with the floral aroma of jasmine, creates a fruity and refreshing taste with the subtle stimulation of Wuyusa tea.

Previously available only in tea bag sachets, we now offer a loose-leaf version in response to customer requests for a tea to enjoy generously every day. The packaging has also been renewed.

ART OF TEA first arrived in Japan in April 2016, primarily selling online and to businesses. It is known for establishing the category of "dessert teas" and is served in five-star hotels and renowned restaurants in Beverly Hills in the United States.


In Japan, it is also available at five-star hotels, Michelin-starred restaurants, cafes, and the lifestyle select shop "The Mart At Fred Segal," which originated on the American West Coast.
