Weekend-Exclusive Afternoon Tea Debut



Beginning Saturday, September 5th, The Westin Tokyo will launch its weekend-exclusive "Classical Afternoon Tea" at 1F "THE LOUNGE." Sandwiches, freshly baked scones, and chef-crafted sweets will be presented on an authentic three-tiered stand.

Executive Pastry Chef Kazuo Suzuki, who has established a firm reputation for his dessert buffets, presents the long-awaited weekend-exclusive "Classical Afternoon Tea." While adhering to traditional afternoon tea styles, the three-tiered stand will feature seasonal menus and cream puffs that are usually exclusive to Westin Deli.

The highlight is the chef's meticulously crafted scones, created exclusively for this offering. Made without eggs, using only yogurt and milk, they are the perfect accompaniment to clotted cream and fruit jam. These are truly exquisite creations, available only here.

Guests can freely select from over 10 types of beverages, including various teas, with the option to switch drinks. The selection includes "Darjeeling Second Flush," made only with tea leaves harvested in early summer, "Earl Grey," characterized by its bergamot aroma, and the most popular "Jasmine Lemon Balm Ginger."

Instead of a teapot, beverages are served individually in teacups, allowing guests to enjoy a variety of flavors. A gateau platter is also served.
