A Cinematic Experience by Hermès.
"With Her." is an interactive exhibition by Hermès, set within a cinematic framework.
Curated by Bali Barret, Artistic Director of Hermès' women's universe, and Nadège Vanhee-Cybulski, Artistic Director of Women's Ready-to-Wear, the exhibition invites visitors into a playful and witty new world of Hermès.
The venue at The National Art Center, Tokyo, is a vast space reminiscent of a grand film studio. The narrative begins as a "writer" pursues the presence of a certain woman—“Her.”
Throughout the exhibition space, various episodes related to "Her" are scattered. The "writer," accompanied by the visitors, navigates the venue in pursuit of "Her," drawing them into a world full of mystery.
"Her" leaves behind the contact information of three people who know her well. The "writer" encounters individuals who speak eloquently about her, deepening their interest. Will the "writer" and the visitors ever meet "Her"?
This story is both a screenplay in progress and a film under production; it is also a treasure hunt, a cryptic jigsaw puzzle, and a game of association.
Experience this mysterious narrative not only from the "writer's" perspective but also through the eyes of a film director, the production crew, and even the actors.
Admission is free. Reservations can be made on the special Hermès website.
