BANKSY, the street artist whose identity remains unknown, has launched an exhibition in New York without prior announcement. His graffiti, illegally painted on walls and streets, has garnered global attention. This documentary, "Banksy Does New York," follows the "treasure hunt" as people scramble across the city in search of his works, and will be released sequentially starting March 26 (Saturday) at Shibuya Cine Quinto and other theaters.

Who is the Enigmatic Street Artist BANKSY?
BANKSY creates works guerrilla-style across the globe. His graffiti, illegally painted on walls and streets, attracts worldwide attention and commands astonishing prices. Many celebrities, including Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Keanu Reeves, Jude Law, and Christina Aguilera, are captivated by his art.
He has unauthorizedly exhibited his works at institutions like the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the British Museum. He also painted on the Israeli West Bank barrier in the Palestinian territories under threat of warning fire from the Israeli military, and created "Steve Jobs in Refugee Camp," depicting the father of Syrian immigrants, at a refugee camp in Calais, northern France.—Through his work, he consistently raises questions and sparks debate.

BANKSY, who possesses immeasurable talent, made his directorial debut with the 2010 documentary "Exit Through the Gift Shop," which was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature. This film chronicles the month in 2013 when he "hacked" New York City.
One Frenzied Month in New York!!
On October 1, 2013, Banksy began his exhibition in New York. The exhibition, which started without notice, involved leaving one artwork on the streets of New York each day and posting it on his official website. People rushed across the city in search of these works, igniting a "treasure hunt" both on the streets and online.
The "Banksy Hunt" intensified with graffiti writers covering up his work, building owners protecting pieces with acrylic sheets, gallery owners immediately buying and selling the art, and people using Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and Vine to track down Banksy's creations.
Banksy has consistently questioned the role of society and art, stating, "The city, the outdoors, and public spaces are where art should exist. Art should be with the citizens." What did he reveal?—.
