Celebrating its First Anniversary, NEWYORKER BLUE Opens its First Standalone Store in Harajuku

The shop concept is: 'A small vacant space in Brooklyn that used to be a bookstore.'—The first standalone store for "NEWYORKER BLUE," launched in January last year to commemorate the 50th anniversary of "NEWYORKER," opened in Harajuku on March 21st.

The NEWYORKER BLUE Harajuku store is designed with the image of a renovated space that retains its essential elements while adding personal touches: 'Exposed brick walls hidden behind bookshelves, slightly worn flooring trodden by countless book lovers. We've kept what's important and added our favorites.'

The store design was handled by KOBAYASHI Kyo and MANA from "ima," a rising design firm gaining attention for its domestic and international store and interior design projects.

Proposing New Comfort to Brighten Everyday Life

NEWYORKER BLUE proposes a playful, traditional casual style for both men and women, with the concept of 'Dressing in your favorites, guided by your mood.'

This season's theme is "Cozy." The collection offers styles that allow for a positive and comfortable spring and summer, featuring high-quality textures, comfortable patterns, meticulous details, and joyful colors.

The NEWYORKER BLUE Harajuku store, which carries the latest items for men and women, serves as the brand's communication hub. We invite you to visit and experience its unique world.
