This Year, They Wear the Brand's Signature Tartan

Brooks Brothers, a heritage brand founded in 1818 and beloved by American presidents including Lincoln, has maintained its tradition and values since its establishment. Today, it is embraced by gentlemen and ladies across generations.

Brooks Brothers' Charity Bears, released annually with changing attire, make an appearance this year in an adorable design featuring the brand's signature tartan. The new tartan check pattern, combining the Campbell tartan originating from Glen Lyon—the birthplace of founder Henry Sands Brooks' wife—with Brooks Brothers' traditional "No. 1 Stripe," is officially recognized by the Scottish Tartans Authority. The collection includes a stylish boy bear in a tartan vest and bow tie, and a charming girl bear in a tartan dress with a matching ribbon on her right ear.

Ten percent of the proceeds from the charity bears will be donated to "Make-A-Wish of Japan," an international non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to fulfilling the dreams of children with serious illnesses. Make-A-Wish of Japan was established with the hope that children battling illness will find the hope, joy, and courage to live.
