BLUE BLUE began in the early 1980s with the production of denim shirts. The brand is dedicated to denim and indigo blue that evolve beautifully with wear, pursuing the ultimate in simple, basic daily wear.

Brooks Brothers, on the other hand, was founded in New York in 1818. It was the first American company to sell ready-to-wear clothing, and throughout its more than two centuries of history, it has defined eras with iconic products such as seersucker, madras, non-iron shirts, and button-down shirts. This collaborative project, which began in September 2023, has garnered significant attention in each of its previous collections. This time, focusing on "high-quality daily wear that can be worn timelessly," a jacket and trousers have been created, blending Brooks Brothers' classic tailoring with Blue Blue's refined sewing techniques.

The fabric chosen is the jacquard denim, a signature material of Blue Blue. Selected with Blue Blue's core principles of "high-quality daily wear" and "heavy duty" in mind, this material was developed for comfort, durability, and aging gracefully, independent of trends or seasons.

With continued wear, the color deepens and the texture evolves, changing its appearance over time. It also boasts a soft touch, surprisingly gentle for denim.

The jacket is based on Brooks Brothers' iconic tailored jacket, featuring a three-button, natural-spread lapel design. The stitching is matched to the fabric color for a clean, streamlined appearance.

Details include Brooks Brothers' signature Golden Fleece embroidery, rendered in a tone-on-tone color scheme for a subtle accent. Original buttons with engraved logos are also used, reflecting the brand's identity throughout.

The trousers are designed based on traditional patterns, with a drawstring at the waist for a relaxed fit. While maintaining a cohesive look as a set, they are finished with a comfortable, unpretentious silhouette.

The garments are made in Japan. Meticulously designed in terms of materials, patterns, and production background, they achieve both toughness for daily wear and a refined luster and crispness. Their versatility allows for a wide range of styling, from elegant and smart to casual.
