World's First N°21 Flagship Store Opens in Omotesando

A Space That Perfectly Reflects the Brand's Creative Vision

For the world's first flagship store, designer Alessandro Dell'Acqua himself oversaw the art direction, with architect Hannes Peer responsible for the store design. The three-floor space features womenswear on the first floor, menswear on the second, and a salon space with a terrace on the third.

Beyond the entrance, marked by striking concrete walls in a predominantly black palette, lies a space where Dell'Acqua's signature style shines through in details like the monochrome marble flooring and the postmodern polycarbonate ceiling.

All the fixtures used to display the collections are original designs by Hannes Peer. Crafted in Italy, these range from custom vintage furniture to pieces designed from scratch.

The materials used within the store—rare marbles such as "Statuario" and "Marquinia," semi-mirrored glass, wood, aluminum, and iron—masterfully embody the brand's aesthetic. The space also draws inspiration from contemporary artists like Damien Hirst; the six-slice, Art Deco-inspired table is reminiscent of Hirst's early works.

We invite you to visit this flagship store, a showcase that reflects the brand's world of edgy creativity and minimalist style through its simple composition, subdued color palette, cohesive furniture and fixtures, and postmodern lighting.

ALESSANDRO DELL'ACQUA
Born December 21, 1962, in Naples. At the young age of 23, he signed a design contract with Genny, a leading Italian fashion house. He subsequently designed for numerous top maisons, including as creative director for Pietro Pianforini and for Iceberg and Les Copains. In Fall/Winter 1996-97, he presented his first ready-to-wear collection under his own name during Milan Fashion Week. His collections, rich in sharp tailoring sensuality and femininity, made waves in the fashion media as the emergence of a major new designer. In 2004, he was appointed designer for La Perla, solidifying his position as a leading figure in Italian fashion. After serving as creative director for Malo, he launched his new womenswear brand, "Numero Ventuno," at Milan Fashion Week for Fall/Winter 2010-11. The menswear line debuted in the Fall/Winter 2014-15 season.
