A Show Inspired by a Wild West Saloon

The show presented the collection unveiled last December in Dallas, Texas. The collection, themed "Wild West," draws inspiration from the history of pioneers in pre-Cold War Texas. The venue was designed to evoke an American Western saloon, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of a vintage Texan tavern where models made a stylish appearance.

Designer Karl Lagerfeld mixed elegant materials with fringes and star motifs. Combining CHANEL's signature white and beige with Western hues like blush and brown, he expressed the spirit of the pioneers. Looks featuring tweed jackets with leather fringes, long tulle gowns embroidered with stars, and relaxed poncho styles offered a modern twist on the romantic elements of the Wild West, captivating the audience.

Following the show, a cocktail party was attended by numerous celebrities, including CHANEL ambassador Alice Dellal, Texas-born fashion icon Jerry Hall, actresses Meisa Kuroki and Yu Yamada, singer Mika Nakashima, G-DRAGON, and architect Makoto Tanijiri.
