GIVENCHY Opens First Street-Level Flagship Store in Omotesando
GIVENCHY's first street-level flagship store in Japan has opened at "ONE Omotesando" in Tokyo's Omotesando district. To commemorate the opening of this flagship store, the "Pandora," one of the brand's signature bags, will be available as an Omotesando-exclusive item.

Evolving the Concept of the Paris Flagship Store
The three-story boutique reflects a concept that further evolves the Paris flagship store, blending the maison's DNA of aristocratic elegance, sensuality, and neo-classicism. The facade features a design inspired by a cross motif. This is complemented by a single pane of glass, measuring 11 meters in height, one of the largest in Japan, fully expressing the brand's dark and romantic worldview.
The collection includes a full range of the brand's items, from ready-to-wear and bags to shoes and accessories. The first floor houses accessories, the second floor women's wear, and the basement men's wear.
Inside the store, five large, room-sized boxes made of black charred oak wood are installed as an homage to the GIVENCHY boxes used for haute couture deliveries. Each box displays women's and men's wear and accessories, with interiors lined with white marble, Calacatta marble, grey volcanic rock, and Passalacqua.
To celebrate the opening of this flagship store, three items will be released. These include the "Pandora" bag in a monochrome version of the Flower Camouflage print, a reissue of a popular backpack from Spring/Summer 2011, and a T-shirt featuring a dynamic graphic motif, all available as limited editions. Additionally, the "Pandora" bag will feature a silver plate engraved with "TOKYO OMOTESANDO 2014, LIMITED EDITION" and a serial number on the inside.
Designer Riccardo Tisci visited Japan for the store opening. The opening party was attended by numerous guests, including supermodel Naomi Campbell, Anna Dello Russo, Creative Consultant for VOGUE JAPAN, actresses Rinko Kikuchi and Riisa Naka, and model Koizumi Akimoto.
