Limited Edition Items from Phillip Lim, Known for His Love of Japan

Isetan Shinjuku's "Center Park" features limited-time pop-up stores showcasing notable maisons, centered around the theme of "cutting-edge fashion x lifestyle." The latest to be curated is the popular New York-based brand, 3.1 Phillip Lim.

The space design is by emerging architect Tsuyoshi Nagasaka. The 70-square-meter space condenses and presents the brand's shared values, the designer's unique sensibility, and culture. Throughout the duration, the concept of "Microcosm" will be explored with interior arrangements, events, and spatial designs changing over five distinct periods.

The first period, running from March 5th (Tuesday) to April 15th (Tuesday), is themed "Elemental." It expresses the "elements of nature" which also serves as the theme for theSpring 2014 Collection. Visuals of raw landscapes and mountain ranges will evoke the strength and beauty of life thriving in harsh ecosystems.

Additionally, a limited-edition item, the "TOKYO LOVE Series," will be released to commemorate the opening of the concept store. These three items—a T-shirt, tank top, and tote bag—embody Phillip Lim's "LOVE" for Japan, a country he knows well. Each is available in three colors: white, black, and red.
