Customized based on the popular "mi POWERBAND 3.0" model

So, I experienced the golf shoe ordering service of Adidas's shoe customization program, "mi adidas," on the second floor of the Adidas Performance Center Shibuya. By the way, Adidas offers customization for shoes for a total of 8 sports: running, tennis, football, basketball, gym training, outdoor, kids, and golf.

In the customization corner, samples of custom shoes from famous athletes in various fields are displayed. It starts with a brief consultation, and then a specialist takes precise measurements of my feet using state-of-the-art equipment (see photo).

Don't you think most people don't actually know the exact size of their feet? I was surprised to learn that my right and left feet differ by nearly 3 millimeters. There are two width options (medium and wide), and we determined the size by fitting while accommodating the length difference between my feet. My feet are narrow, so I chose medium. Although there's a difference of about 3 millimeters between my feet, when I tried on thicker socks, the 25 cm size fit naturally for each, so I decided on 25 cm. These golf shoes are based on the popular "mi POWERBAND 3.0" model, which incorporates thin outsole technology to enable stable shots.

Next, I moved to the design selection corner. I chose the colors and markings for each part, such as the base, sole, sides, and three stripes. This is the most fun and time-consuming part! There are about 240 million design patterns, so it can be overwhelming once you start thinking about it. But I chose mine quickly, guided by my senses and intuition.

Towards the end, there's a section to choose a national flag. Professional golfers naturally choose JAPAN. Of course, you can opt out, but with British fashion gaining attention, I decided to add the Union Jack as a stylish accent. Viewed from a different perspective, it looks quite fashionable! I also chose a color that blended with the fabric for my name, "SAKURA," to add it subtly. It takes about a month for them to be ready. I'm looking forward to their arrival. I must schedule some golf time soon!

Shoe Coordination for This Autumn/Winter

As a shoe lover, I've acquired several pairs this season: some slightly rock-inspired work boots, sleek knee-high boots that fit snugly, and beige patent leather pumps! I'm eager to enjoy full-on winter fashion soon. Thinking about outfits starting with shoes expands my imagination, and I love it!

A Simple Introduction to SAKURA's Coordination Style!

For a flowing silk chiffon new dress from the LA-based brand "Megan," I'm pairing it with beige patent leather pumps found in Yokohama's Motomachi shopping street for a clean, coordinated look. Colored tights would also work well. This season's trendy knit and silk print dress is from my favorite brand, "MACPHEE," but I'm feeling like pairing it with "Chanel's" rock-inspired work boots for a slightly heavier, more active impression.



And for "Max Mara's" ice-gray fur coat dress made of rabbit and wool, I think pairing it with "Megan's" long knee-high? Thigh-high? boots would create a streamlined effect. I've been searching for long boots that fit my legs perfectly since last year, and I've finally found them. I'm so happy! This season, fur items are trending, so boots with this level of volume might balance well with fur.

Whether it's the fashion or sports edition, I want to go out actively in my favorite items (shoes)! I'm thinking of going to golf school for the first time in years, and I've also started wanting to play tennis again. Next year, I'm scheduled to participate in Nordic walking in Hakone. I plan to move lightly in my new shoes.
