Limited-Edition Items Collaborating with Popular Brands
BAND OF OUTSIDERS was established in LA in 2004 by Scott Sternberg, a designer with an unusual background, transitioning from the film industry to fashion. The brand is characterized by items that blend traditional values with fresh interpretations and ideas, earning Sternberg the CFDA Fashion Award for Menswear Designer of the Year in 2009. The brand's name is derived from the English title of Jean-Luc Godard's film 'Bande à part'.
The interior of the world's first flagship store was designed by LOT-EK, an architectural unit based in New York, comprised of Giuseppe Lignano and Ada Tolla. They have masterfully recreated Sternberg's unique worldview and attention to detail, which extends beyond the typical fashion designer's scope. The store is said to exude a unique, dynamic energy, as if it were a living entity.
Numerous limited-edition items are available to celebrate the opening. These include towels, Italian leather shoes, and postcards, as well as collaborative items with popular brands such as G-SHOCK and VANS sneakers.
