Eyewear = Mask
The brand name "KUBORAUM" means "cubic room." Its designs, an homage to one's own shelter and its windows, are born from the concept of "eyewear = mask."
KUBORAUM was launched last year by LIVIO GRAZION, SERGIO EUSEBI, and ANTONIO PINCIN, three Italians who honed their sensibilities in the Italian fashion industry before moving to Berlin. Its distinctive designs are already generating buzz, being used in collections and more.
The edgy, object-like designs exude an overwhelming presence, yet their comfortable fit and how well they blend with the face when worn faithfully express the brand's philosophy of "enhancing the wearer's individuality and charm." The latest 2013-14 Autumn/Winter collection features many designs with processed frames, such as baked finishes.
The pop-up store at the Isetan Shinjuku Men's Building 2nd floor features not only the latest works but also past archives. Here, you'll find the "eyewear = mask" that can transform you into a new you.
