On February 29, 2024, BAYCREW’S opened “SELECT by BAYCREW’S” within the Toranomon Hills Station Tower.

A Vast Space of Approximately 800 Tsubo within Toranomon Hills Station Tower

BAYCREW’S has long aimed to create new markets, offering a lifestyle enriched by fashion, food, housing, and beauty. They operate select shops like JOURNAL STANDARD, Deuxième Classe, and ÉDIFICE, alongside the large-scale group store “BAYCREW'S STORE.”

Amidst the increasing diversification of tastes and lifestyles, “SELECT by BAYCREW’S” pursues the intrinsic value of a select shop.

Spanning two floors and approximately 2,600 square meters (800 tsubo) in the Toranomon Hills Station Tower, experienced and knowledgeable curators select only what they love, offering new proposals that transcend genres.

Various new ventures also debut with this store. These include Circles, a Nagoya institution beloved by cyclists, making its Tokyo debut; Herringbone, a new footwear concept; THENIME, focusing on women's vintage denim; and THE STAND fool so good(s), a genre-defying shop with an attached hot dog stand.

■THENIME
This shop, centered around an extensive collection of vintage denim whose market value is steadily increasing, offers denim styles reflecting the current mood, curated by conceptor Etsumi Nagao. Denim, always loved, is not just a basic item but essential for completing a sophisticated style, a must-have in everyone's wardrobe. To spread knowledge and appreciation of vintage denim, even among women, the selection is supervised by Hiroshi Fujiwara, director of the renowned vintage shop BerBerJin.

■THE STAND fool so good (s)
fool so good(s) selects genre-defying items that make everyday life fun, even if they seem a bit silly. It offers encounters with products that blend playful humor with comfort, perfect as gifts for others or treats for oneself. The concept is to surround oneself with beloved items, collections, and enrich daily life, no matter the age. An evolved gourmet hot dog stand, conceptualized around "cheat days," is also attached, making it a stand shop where one can drop by to satisfy both hunger and mood.

■Herringbone
BAYCREW’S first unisex footwear specialty store. Welcoming Hideyuki Kunii, Creative Director at mita sneakers, as an external director, it establishes a new sneaker boutique that acts as a hub for BAYCREW’S diverse labels, proposing styles centered on footwear from innovation to archives, sports to fashion, in a gender-neutral manner.

■Circles Tokyo
Circles is a bicycle shop based in Nagoya. While it might seem like a select shop offering carefully chosen high-quality products from global bicycle cultures, it is also a specialty store that plans, manufactures, and globally supplies its own Japanese-made original bike parts brand, “Sim Works,” born from its unique interpretation. Circles Tokyo, where cyclists from around the world gather, marks its first expansion into Tokyo. Here, visitors can see the entire Sim Works lineup, unique in Japan, and find a selection of rare, American-made handmade bikes.

The fashion content features items curated freely by experienced buyers from both within and outside BAYCREW’S, transcending brand boundaries. It offers guests the joy of discovering their own unique style.

It also houses BAYCREW’S first art gallery space. This space curates works and artists from all genres, regardless of form or era, that possess a timeless beauty, and introduces them to the world. Osamu Ouchi, representative of nano/nano graphics, serves as the creative director, with Masumi Sasaki of ART&REASON appointed for the opening direction.

“SELECT by BAYCREW’S” offers proposals that stimulate the five senses through fashion, art, culture, hobbies, and food. It is a select shop where one can feel the "love" and "passion" of its curators, unbound by data or marketing.
