Phillip Lim, the designer of the popular New York-based brand "3.1 Phillip Lim," made an official visit to Japan for the first time in five years. A special event was held at the Aoyama store. The evening was a glamorous affair, bringing together the "it girls" leading Japan's fashion scene.

Who Will Be the Model for the Global Campaign Visuals Shot in Japan?
On May 10th (Friday), a special event was held to commemorate the 5th anniversary of "3.1 Phillip Lim Aoyama." Designer Phillip Lim was also in attendance. He not only hosted the many guests, including the "it girls" who lead Japan's fashion scene, but also announced a special project.
The project involved shooting the brand's 2013 Autumn/Winter global campaign visuals in Tokyo, with the keyword being "true to the collection's theme." Furthermore, in a surprise move, Phillip Lim himself selected the "3.1 girl" who would appear in this global campaign from the party attendees. Who is this "3.1 girl"? We can't take our eyes off this newsworthy project.
From 9 PM, an after-party was held at the club "AIR" in Daikanyama. DJ RUCKUS, a fixture of New York's club scene, performed, creating an electrifying dance party. Tokyo was captivated by this glamorous "3.1 Phillip Lim Night" on a Friday.
