Actress Rinko Kikuchi Directs Her First Film

To commemorate its 25th anniversary this August, ZUCCa has produced a short film directed by actressRinko KikuchiIt will be screened at pop-up stores opening sequentially in April and May.

This short film, "MEMORY OF AN ARTIST," was created as the first part of ZUCCa's 25th-anniversary campaign. It is the directorial debut of the globally acclaimed actressRinko Kikuchiwho also wrote the script and stars in the film. A trailer is currently available on the official ZUCCa website (www.zucca.cc), so please take a look.

Inspired by this season's collection theme, "The Artist's Room," the film features a dreamlike vision of Rinko Kikuchi, clad in a blue dress, walking alone through a vast, snowy landscape. Through delicate yet tense, poetic imagery, it conveys ZUCCa's message.

Regarding this project, director Rinko Kikuchi commented as follows:
"I am fortunate to have been given the opportunity to direct and write for ZUCCa's 25th anniversary. This is a unique endeavor, combining fashion and short film. I aim to showcase the form ZUCCa has built over 25 years from a different perspective. I am simply thrilled about this project."

The full version of the short film "MEMORY OF AN ARTIST" will be shown at the sequentially opening pop-up stores. Those curious about the continuation should definitely visit. In addition to the film, the pop-up stores will feature numerous 25th-anniversary limited items, including the striking blue dress used in the film.
