A Special Silk Scarf, Limited to 500 Worldwide

Swiss luxury brand BALLY has collaborated with the French NGO Soieries du Mékong. Harnessing the exceptional skills of Cambodian textile artisans, they have created a special silk scarf, limited to just 500 pieces globally. In Japan, it will be available exclusively at the Ginza store and online from Tuesday, November 15th.

Bally Launches Limited Edition Scarf to Support Cambodian Women

Soieries du Mékong is an NGO that creates sustainable employment and empowers women by fostering their skills and knowledge in weaving, particularly for women living in impoverished rural areas of Cambodia. The creation of a single silk scarf in Cambodia can take up to 40 hours. This is because each step, from measuring and dyeing the silk threads to weaving, is meticulously performed by hand. These special scarves, crafted with the utmost care by Cambodian women, are now being released by Bally in a limited edition of 500 pieces.

The collaboration scarves with Bally come in two styles: a 90 x 90cm square style featuring a large gingham check, and a 45 x 168 cm style with a delicate gingham check. Both scarves, adorned with vibrant colors, are finished with hand-tied tassels at the corners as a signature detail and come with a tag detailing their origin and production method.

The scarves will be available from early November at Bally stores in the USA, UK, Switzerland, Germany, Milan, France, Japan, Hong Kong, China, Australia, and Singapore, as well as online.

In Japan, they will be available for purchase exclusively at the Ginza store and online from Tuesday, November 15th.
