2011-12 SAKURA Beauty Collection!?
It's been a tumultuous year, but we're welcoming a new one. We look forward to your continued support in 2012!
Personally, I plan to continue my steady support activities for the complete reconstruction of Tohoku in 2012.

My Personal Best Cosmetics Picks of 2011!
To wrap up 2011, I'd like to highlight items that caught my eye from this year into the next, and those I'm looking forward to for spring. While various women's magazines have published their best cosmetic lists, I also had the opportunity to participate as a judge for several.
In skincare and base makeup especially, cosmetics that not only offer pleasant scents and textures but also deliver immediate results have become popular. Thanks to advancements in active ingredients from the latest technology and improved formulations and manufacturing processes that deliver them effectively to the skin, we can achieve a "beautiful" complexion after application through both immediate and lasting effects. We'll definitely be keeping an eye on this space.
In skincare, from the latter half of 2011, "results-driven skincare" like POLA's foam mask "BA The Mask" and Lancôme's "Visionnaire Serum" have stood out.
POLA's press-in mask, which is pushed into the skin with the palms, is innovative. Is this the culmination of POLA's over 50 years of research into foam? It's one of the cosmetics that captivated the beauty industry, as the skin visibly becomes more vibrant after application.
For mascara, there's Helena Rubinstein's "Lash Queen Cobra Black WP." In a season where the pale beige python print dress from Chloé's Fall/Winter collection left a strong impression, a python-print mascara felt perfectly in sync with the trend and timing, which was very striking. Furthermore, despite the strong image of a cobra-like brush head, the finish was incredibly delicate, offering a refined curl and volume that was truly impressive.
Chanel's fragrance "No. 19 Poudré" captivated me with its transparent, refreshing green notes at first sight. Inspired by iris roots, its slightly powdery scent is calming yet evokes the energy of plants, making me feel active, and it's been a favorite since its release. Among others, like Addiction's "Compact Loose Powder" 002, which is as fine as powder snow, the five items I selected are still in use today! Of course, 2011 was a year with many other wonderful cosmetics as well.
PINK☆ROSE☆PINK 2012 SPRING
And now, the beauty trends for the new year, 2012!
Spring pink is a classic, but this season, "pink" is a must-have! While it's pink, you might wonder, "What's the difference?" as subtle pink gradations emerge. For example, LUNASOL's spring collection, with its pink color collection inspired by peach-toned pinks called "peach blossom," features attractive glosses, eyeshadows, nail polishes, and limited edition face powders. I was also drawn to other beautiful rose-motif embossed cosmetics from brands like Dior and ANNA SUI.
Furthermore, pink eyeshadow is an essential item for Spring 2012. Many people hesitate to try pink eyeshadow, thinking it's difficult to use or makes their eyes look puffy. However, I recommend pink eyeshadow because it can bring out femininity and sexiness. Instead of using it like an eyeshadow wheel, try applying it like a liner along the lash line and under the lower lash line. It creates an indescribably feminine eye look. Among them, Cosme Decorte's "AQMW" pink eyeshadows are stunningly beautiful. I'm particularly fond of using the third shade from the top, a reddish pink, as a point color.
It's always a pleasure to share upcoming trends. Although the cold days continue, don't miss out on limited edition January cosmetics, and try challenging yourself with pink makeup a little ahead of the season.
