What is the "J∞QUALITY" Project?

The "J∞QUALITY" project is an all-Japan initiative aimed at creating demand for Japanese apparel and revitalizing Japan's textile and sewing industries. It is a unified brand awarded only to products manufactured entirely in Japan, from weaving and knitting to dyeing, finishing, and sewing. At Renown, the D'URBAN brand has received this certification.

The "Wearing Japan Exhibition ~Japan Quality Clothing~," organized by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, will feature exhibits of "J∞QUALITY" certified products and other items representing Japan Quality, such as kimonos.

At the venue, visitors can try on certified products. Those who do will receive a portrait service using the wet collodion photographic technique, the same special printing technology used for the portrait of Ryoma Sakamoto.

Inspired by the film "The Grand Budapest Hotel"

Since its founding in 1970, D'URBAN has collaborated with Bishu wool textile manufacturers to develop original fabrics and has produced garments in its own domestic factories. With the concept of being a brand that proposes a total lifestyle for the modern era, centered on chic and tasteful clothing, it offers suits that fit the Japanese physique. The brand has now obtained J∞QUALITY certification.

This season's collection is inspired by the co-production film "The Grand Budapest Hotel." Drawing hints from the fashion of the mid-1980s featured in the movie, it presents an elegant yet masculine and substantial design in a modern interpretation. The lineup includes J∞QUALITY-approved suits, jackets, and pants, offering a wide range from dress items to casual wear.

However, the event opens at 3:00 PM on Tuesday the 15th and closes at 5:00 PM on Monday the 21st.
