Embodying "The Barneys Spirit" of Evolving Expression

To commemorate its 25th anniversary in Japan, Barneys New York has appointed dancer and choreographer Koharu Sugawara as its image model. Since August, the store has been rolling out a series of unique special projects each month.

The newly released visuals showcase five key looks from the Autumn/Winter season, for both women's and men's collections. The campaign blends the sophisticated fashion sense of Barneys New York with Sugawara's dynamic and energetic performance. These visuals will be displayed in all Barneys New York stores nationwide, on the official website, and across various media platforms. Additional visuals are scheduled for release from September onwards.



Furthermore, a special movie has been produced. In it, Sugawara, dressed in exclusive Barneys New York items, delivers an energetic and fast-paced dance performance. The film features the 25th-anniversary original women's collection, a collaboration with Taro Horiuchi, designer of "Taro Horiuchi," and the latest men's items from "Tim Coppens." The movie is currently available on the official website.

Additionally, a special window display featuring this movie will be unveiled at the Ginza store starting September 1st (Tuesday). Using special projection lighting, a longer version of the movie will be projected onto the window. Displays will also be available in other stores.
