From January 14 (Sat) to 22 (Sun), 2023, BARNEYS NEW YORK Ginza flagship store will host an NFT art sale and a limited T-shirt order event curated by Takuji Mikita of "Wolf's Head," a renowned shop in Sendagi, Tokyo, specializing in original studded items and special vintage wear.

Limited T-shirts: A Collaboration Between "Trash Head" and "KRAD"! Special Items with Tags Created by Mikita for This T-shirt

The NFT (Non-Fungible Token) art being sold this time is a digital transformation (video product) of New Year's cards that Mikita himself draws each year based on the Chinese zodiac, completed by applying the brand's signature studs. This project was realized through KRAD's admiration for these creations. Under the supervision of Takuji Mikita, NFT artist Pain(t)killer produced the video.

The NFT art, specially created for this event, is themed around the twelve animals of the Chinese zodiac: one piece each for Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Sheep, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, and Boar, plus one special edition combining all twelve designs, making a total of 13 pieces.
Each video artwork comes with a card-type digital certificate (NFT ownership certificate) issued by Startbahn, Inc., and includes a 27-inch monitor with a USB drive containing the video artwork and still images for viewing.

In addition, to commemorate the release of the NFT art, orders will also be accepted for limited T-shirts featuring the same designs as the zodiac artworks. These T-shirts are a collaboration between "Wolf's Head's" original brand "Trash Head" and "KRAD," a brand active since 2020 with the theme "Shadow & Light." They are special items featuring a limited peppermint green tag newly created by Mikita for this T-shirt.

NFT art is scheduled for delivery in early February, and T-shirts in early April.
