Barneys New York, the specialty store from the US, celebrates its 25th anniversary in Japan. To mark this milestone year, a variety of campaigns will launch starting in August. It was also announced that dancer Koharu Sugawara has been chosen as the face of the new campaign visuals.

Limited Editions and Collaborations: A Wealth of Unmissable Items


This year marks the 25th anniversary of Barneys New York, which opened its first store in Shinjuku in November 1990. To celebrate this anniversary year, special projects with unique themes will be offered monthly starting in August.

Exclusive items from domestic and international brands that embody the "Barneys spirit," along with captivating collaboration collections, will be released for both men and women. These special pieces will be available at all flagship stores in Shinjuku, Yokohama, Ginza, Kobe, and Fukuoka. Some items will also be available on the online store.

Dancer and choreographer Koharu Sugawara, who has garnered global attention for her dynamic dance and versatile expressiveness, has been appointed as the model for the campaign visuals. Dressed in key looks for the Fall/Winter season, she embodies Barneys New York's continuous evolution, always looking forward. A film has also been produced and will be released in August and beyond on in-store displays and the website.
